Who is my mother? and who are my brethren?

『 While he yet talked to the people, behold, his mother and his brethren stood without, desiring to speak with him. Then one said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to speak with thee. But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren? And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren! For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother. 』 (Matthew 12: 46-50) You must understand God well. The Bible says in John (1: 1). 『 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 』 The word is logos. So the Bible says in John (1:14). 『 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. 』 God has come in the flesh in this world. He is Jesus Christ. The name Jesus means "Jehova...

Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith?

『 And when he was entered into a ship, his disciples followed him. And, behold, there arose a great tempest in the sea, insomuch that the ship was covered with the waves: but he was asleep. And his disciples came to him, and awoke him, saying, Lord, save us: we perish. And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm. But the men marvelled, saying, What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him! 』 (Matthew 8: 23-27) Jesus Christ is God in the kingdom of God. He came to the land of Israel as the Son of God to save all the sinners of this world. So he preached repentance, but the Pharisees and scribes did not believe. Even though, God comes directly to the world in the flesh, but if anyone preaches God's Word, will there be many people to believe? 『 Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Chri...

When thou hast opened his mouth

『 And when they were come to Capernaum, they that received tribute money came to Peter, and said, Doth not your master pay tribute?   He saith, Yes. And when he was come into the house, Jesus prevented him, saying, What thinkest thou, Simon? of whom do the kings of the earth take custom or tribute? of their own children, or of strangers?   Peter saith unto him, Of strangers. Jesus saith unto him, Then are the children free.   Notwithstanding, lest we should offend them, go thou to the sea, and cast an hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: that take, and give unto them for me and thee. 』 (Matthew 17: 24-27) This is a parable. People think that temple taxes are taxes to repair and serve the temple. There is no provision in the Bible for temple taxes.   At the time of Jesus, the Israelites demanded a shekel "on the basis of the ransom mentioned in Exodus 30: 12-16". Prostitution (...

The parable of the wedding feast

『 And Jesus answered and spake unto them again by parables, and said, The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son, And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come. Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come unto the marriage.   But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise: And the remnant took his servants, and entreated them spitefully, and slew them. But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city. Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy. Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage. So those servants went out into the highways,...
