Cry for yourselves and for your children.

Cry for yourselves and for your children.   Luke 23:28-31 『 But Jesus turned unto them, Daughters of Jerusalem, weep not for me, but weep for yourselves, and for your children. For, behold, the days are coming, in which they shall say, Blessed are the barren, and the wombs that never bare, and the paps which never gave suck. Then shall they begin to say to the mountains, Fall on us; and to the hills, Cover us.For if they do these things in a green tree, what shall be done in the dry? 』 This is recorded only in the Gospel of Luke among the four Gospels. Jesus said to the women, "Do not weep for me, but weep for yourselves and for your children." Jesus is the Messiah who came to save the world as the Son of God, and the path of carrying the cross was the path of glory to fulfill the mission given to him by the Father who sent him. He was to rise again after three days of being buried. The problem was not Jesus, but the women who followed him. The Lord knew that the te...

Doubt about the resurrection of Thomas

Doubt about the resurrection of Thomas   John 20:25 『 The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the LORD. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe. 』 Thomas did not believe in the resurrection of Jesus. When Jesus was resurrected and appeared to the disciples, Thomas was the only one who was not there. When the disciples told Thomas that Jesus had risen, he did not believe it. Of course, the other disciples did not believe in the resurrection of Jesus at first, but Thomas did not believe it even after hearing the other disciples ’ story of Jesus ’ resurrection. If another disciple had been in the same situation as Thomas, they would not have believed it. This is because they could not believe in the resurrection of Jesus when they saw it with their physical eyes. It is difficult to understand how a dead person could...

You also will sit on twelve thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

You also will sit on twelve thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.   Matthew 19:28-30 『 And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration (Palingenesia) when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive a hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life. But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first. The word “ palingenesia ” ( παλιγγενεσί ᾳ ), translated as “ the world will be renewed, ” means rebirth, being born again. The world refers to the saints. When the saints believe that their old self died with Jesus and was resurrected with the resurrected Jesus, they become new. Then, a new temple is built in their hearts, and the new temple represents the place...

People are carrying people who were born unable to walk.

People are carrying people who were born unable to walk.   Acts 3:1-3 『 Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour. And a certain man lame from his mother's womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple; Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms. 』 『 At the ninth hour of prayer 』 About the number nine (9) Luke 17:14-19 『 When he saw that they were healed, he said to them, "Go show yourselves to the priests." And as they went, they were cleansed (ekadalisthesan). But one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, glorifying God with a loud voice. He fell down at Jesus' feet and gave him thanks. He was a Samaritan. Jesus answered and said to him, "Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the nine? Have not any found back to give glory to God except this foreigner?" And he s...

I am the resurrection, and the life

I am the resurrection, and the life   John 11:25-26 Jesus said to her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? 』 When Martha's brother Lazarus died, Martha said that if Jesus had been at her house, he would not have died. In chapter 11, verse 22, Martha answered, "I believe that whatever we ask of God, he will give us." That is why Jesus said, "He will live again," but Martha was thinking of "living again" not as something present, but as a resurrection on the last day in the future after the death of the flesh. What Jesus says to Martha in chapter 11 verses 23-26 is, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me, though he was dead in spirit, will live, and when the spirit lives, he will receive the gift of faith from heaven and never die." If we look at these words from the persp...
