After your soul dies, you are resurrected to the spirit body

And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; (Ephesians 2: 1)

This means "everyone is dead to God." Salvation is not forgiveness of sins, but the dead must rise again. In order for the dead (spirit) to come to life, the old man (soul), who was physically born with Jesus, must die. In the sacrament, believers eat bread and drink wine glasses. Believers drink not only cups, but first after eating bread. The reason for eating bread is the ceremony of becoming one with the death of Jesus. After first participating in Jesus' death, forgiveness is accomplished by His blood.

The Bible describes those who can participate in Jesus' death. He is not a person who says, "I believe in Jesus, I receive Jesus," but is a person who first realizes how fallen to God and repents. But people say, "I have repented of God, and I repent daily." What matters is the content of repentance. Do you repent of your sins? Or do you repent of the evil (old man) that causes you to sin? Repentance for sin is the purpose of forgiveness. But if you repent of the evil (old man) that causes you to sin, you are not confession of forgiveness, but confess that you are a sinner who will die against God.

Sinners to die must die. God does not forgive sinners. But God wants to save repentant sinners. God must kill sinners and want to save those who repent. But God comes to the world in the form of a sinner and dies for sin in the name of a repentant sinner. He is Jesus. So those who repent and are in Jesus are dead to God. But what if people believe that they are dead and live with wicked deeds? What if they love the world by saying that they are dead to the world? So we must be daily dead to God. Otherwise, as Jesus said to his disciples, Jesus will tell us, "Tonight you will forsake me."

Day by day, did the sinner live or die? The answer to this statement is who is the master of thought. Is the Master of Thought the Word of God or Your Own? If you live according to God's Word, that is the kingdom of God. Salvation comes to those who have the kingdom of God. So in order to protect the kingdom of God, we must fight evil.

The object of our battle is explained in Ephesians (2: 2): Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: The evil spirit is my enemy (Satan). But if we follow the world trend again, we follow Satan. In Ephesians, "Satan has taken power in the air." This does not refer to physical boundaries, but to the power of the world. So the Bible warns us not to love the things of this world in 1 John 2:15.

Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this worldThis means to love the things of the world instead of the kingdom of God. There are many ways to love the world. For example, the world's traditions, culture, fashion, wealth, etc. If we love this more than the kingdom of God, then there is no kingdom of God. The reason why people love the world more than the kingdom of God is because they think "the world is everything." Before we were born again with Jesus, we did the same. This is explained in Ephesians 2: 3.

Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others. There is greed in the love of the world. It is the greed of mine and ours. Greed is a heart in the flesh. In the body received from parents, sinfulness is inherited, and this heart is manifested. The Bible describes this as an old man. So the old man must die on the cross with Jesus. Romans 6: 3-4 explains it in detail.

If we say that we are saved in the church and follow the world, we are disguised in the church. (Like Adam and Eve hiding in the forest of the garden of Eden) These people mistake that the words of Ephesians (2: 4-5) were fulfilled to them. But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)

So, they sing God of love. But if you do not repent, this will not happen to you. God bestows new creative grace on those who repent. New creation is born again. Rebirth is resurrection. Although the body is alive in this world, the soul will be resurrected to the spirit body and will be with God in Ephesians (2: 6).

And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

Ephesians(2:10) says more wonderful words. This statement applies to the born again. Only those who died with Jesus are created for good works. Those who are newly created are born again of water and the Holy Spirit. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:(1 Peter 3:21)

Your old man (soul: greed) must die, but the dead soul will be resurrected into the spirit body and go on with a good conscience. If people are not born again, they look good to others, but they are evil to God. Only after God shines the light will people realize their situation. Unless they realize and repent, all go to hell. Satan does not make people aware. Satan causes people to think "peaceful and joyful" while they live in the world. But the light of God makes us realize that "we are living in darkness."
