And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins

But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) (Ephesians 2: 4-5)

From the birth of man, the spirit is dying because of original sin. Original sin includes both physical and spiritual things. As we know from the Bible, the original sin inherited from Adam is carnal. Carnal original sin is evil in the heart (sinity), and living in the world, it causes man to break God's Word and the laws of the world and to sin. But spiritual original sin is the sin of wanting to be like God. So humans forget God, oppose God, and worship idols. So we call these two original sins. Most church people say that the sin of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden is original sin, but spiritual original sin is the beginning of spiritual original sin when Satan wants to be like God in God's kingdom. Thus, all beings who follow Satan inherit a spiritual original sin.

Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. (John 8:44)

Physical original sin occurs on earth, but spiritual original sin occurs on the spiritual world. Human beings are sinners from birth and are born with both original sins. Original sin includes sin and idols. Sinfulness pollutes the body, but idols kill spirits. Thus the body of flesh (sinfulness) must die on the cross with Jesus. The repentant is born of the spirit body by the power of the Holy Spirit, so that the spirit can rise. So the condition of salvation is that the physical body dies with Jesus and is resurrected to the spirit body. And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins (Ephesians 2: 4-5)

trespasses and sins: The former is world sin. The latter is the original sin. It is because of spiritual original sin that people in the world think that they can serve idols or become gods on their own. All human beings born on earth are controlled by Satan from birth. This world is Satan's world.

Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence. (John 18:36)

Since Jesus Christ died on the cross, Jesus overcame Satan's power. So those who are in Jesus Christ are free from spiritual original sin. Also, those who die in union with Jesus Christ are free from physical original sin. Baptism is the union of Jesus Christ on the cross.

Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? (Romans 6: 3)

Today, many church people do not understand or do not want to be united with Jesus Christ on the cross. Nevertheless, they think they are free from physical original sin. Most of the church people are unaware of spiritual original sin. Original sin began with spiritual original sin, followed by physical original sin. Adam and Eve were born as souls in this world. The spirit was dead. God created the Garden of Eden to save Adam's spirit, and put Adam in the Garden of Eden to eat the fruit of the tree of life. There, Eve was born separate from Adam. In the Garden of Eden, Adam and Eve had no carnal original sin. However, the old serpent (Satan) appears in the garden of Eden. Eve was tempted by Satan and sinned. Adam then sinned. When Adam and Eve were born into the world, were they children of Satan? The answer is why when Adam was born into this world, he was born as a soul. It is a story belonging to the secret before the creation of the world.

In Matthew, Jesus spoke many times about the mystery of creation. In particular, Jesus tells a mystery in a parable. The reason Jesus spoke the sowing parable was that "plow up the land of your heart." Read, think, and realize the words of the Bible. Without good land, as sprouts cannot come out, if we do not realize, even if we have read the Bible many times, it is still deaf and blind, as Isaiah says.Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry: (Colossians 3: 5)

We can see the combination of physical original sin and spiritual original sin. Covetousness is evil manifested in fleshly original sin. Idolatry is spiritual original sin. The way to escape from the original sin of the flesh is to die on the cross with Jesus. But if we are to be free from spiritual original sin, we must be free from Satan. Spiritual original sin and physical original sin are combined as one, but their origins are different. In Noah's day, God judged the world by water, but in Abraham's day, God judged Sodom and Gomorrah by fire because of their wickedness and idolatry. Their evil is mainly focused on homosexuality. It is a fact that these acts were performed in the place of idolatry.

Salvation is the departure from the power of darkness (Satan) and the body of sin to die with Jesus Christ. When the sinner realizes this and repents, God will set him free from these original sins. God will wash away the sins of the world with the blood of Jesus. Without repentance, "believing in Jesus is saved" is wrong. It is because people did not understand sin and evil. People believe what they think. If we do not repent, nothing will happen.

Salvation is to restore the kingdom of God in this world, but it is spiritual, not the world. For this world is dominated by Satan. Satan's people are doing evil without knowing what they are doing. God wants to find the lost spirit.

How think ye? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray? And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth more of that sheep, than of the ninety and nine which went not astray.
Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish. (Matthew 18: 12-14)
