Reserved in heaven for you

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, (1 Peter 1: 3-4)

This is a letter from Peter to the Saints who lived in Catacombs. The saints were evacuating by digging caves in the mountains to avoid persecution. God is what Jesus Christ calls the Father. When we are in Jesus Christ, we too can call God the Father. Unless we repent and be born again, we cannot be in Jesus Christ. Peter had denied Jesus three times before he died. It is the image of the unrepentant. Today, many call God Father without repentance.

Jesus Christ, who died on the cross, was not a king but a sinner. Why did the Son of God die on the cross because of God's curse? For God does not forgive sin. But Jesus is innocent. It is amazing that the innocent Son of God died as a sinner. God was willing to die his Son for the repentant. What was wrong with the people who repented that Jesus had to be cursed and died on the cross? If you do not know this correctly, you do not know the meaning of repentance.

Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law. Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come. (Romans 5: 12-14)

Especially speaking in Romans (15:14) means Adam's original sin (evil). Sin is against the law or command. From Adam to Moses there was no law (the law of the wrath of God). Thus, because there was no law, the Bible says that "sin was not considered sin." However, before the law, in Noah's day, God saw the wickedness of man and was angry and judged with water. This is because there is evil before sin. Evil beings must die. God judges because of human wickedness. Human evil is greed. Humans realize that they are sinners through their sins and repent of their sins, but God requires them to repent of the evil that causes them to sin. So repentance is turning away from evil.

Repentance differs between man and God. People say that they sin daily and rely on Jesus' blood for their repentance, but God says that evil must die. If we do not follow God's will, we cannot be saved. But man cannot turn away from evil himself. It is impossible without Jesus Christ. Only union with Jesus Christ, who died on the cross, can turn away from evil. This evil is sinfulness inherited from Adam.

who is the figure of him that was to comeThe "coming man" is Jesus Christ. Adam speaks of a model of Jesus Christ. A model is a real miniature. Adam is a miniature version of Jesus Christ. Just as through Adam all humans were dead, through Jesus Christ on the cross, all humans also had to be dead. But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many. And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification. (Romans 5: 15-16)

Although Adam and Jesus Christ look like the same sinners, Adam was a premise of evil, and he later gave death (spiritual death), Jesus Christ, as a solution to evil, delivered death (carnal death) to those who repent.

And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual. The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven. (1 Corinthians 5: 45-47)

In particular, 1 Corinthians (15:45) describes man as a living soul. As in Genesis (2: 7), Adam was born a living soul in this world. That is, the spirit is dead. Repentance may require you to realize that you are a soul, not a spiritual being. Soul beings are spirits that are dead. For it is controlled by Satan. Repentance is about this fact. You must cry out to God about being trapped in darkness. The Hebrews were enslaved in Egypt and cried out to God. God did not point out sin in Egypt. In the same way, God does not first ask sinners of those who have been under Satan's control, but tells them about evil. But sinners do not come from evil, only sin.
