There is no one righteous, no one.

What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin; As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one. Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips: Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness: Their feet are swift to shed blood: Destruction and misery are in their ways: And the way of peace have they not known: There is no fear of God before their eyes. Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; (Romans 3: 9-21)

This world created by God has an end. Unlike the spirit world, God created this world finitely, because it exists only until the purpose for which God created the world is achieved. This world, however good it may be, is no better than the spirit world in which God is. As Revelation says, heaven is expressed in jewels. It is expressed as an unparalleled place in this world. On the contrary, it is a world in which the spirit is trapped. In Luke 8, Jairus's daughter died. But Jesus saved it.

And he put them all out, and took her by the hand, and called, saying, Maid, arise.  And her spirit came again, and she arose straightway: and he commanded to give her meat. (Luke 8: 54-55) The return of the spirit of a dead child means that the spirit is confined in the body. When the spirit goes out, the body dies and the spirit comes in, so the body lives. The spirit and the body are in opposition. To say that "the flesh lived" is the death of the spirit. The expression "dead" means a broken relationship with God. The body must die in order for the spirit to live, but in reality it cannot. Jesus died on the cross, and those who believe in him die physically with Jesus. In order for the spirit to live, the physical body must die on the cross with Jesus and be reborn with the spirit body with Jesus. Spirits trapped in the body cannot know about God. Only in the rebirth of the spirit body is communication with God and God in Christ.

The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God.  They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one. (Psalm 14: 2-3),

As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one. (Romans 3:10-12). This is the condition of human beings who have been separated from God. Most people do not know God and do not fear it. Humans who have left God are evil and God is good. Evil cannot be with good. When we think of "Jesus must come to this world in sinful form," there was no other way to save the trapped spirit in the wicked man.

Why does God have to come to the world in the flesh and die on the cross to save the trapped spirit? For the spirits were the sons of God and the people. God is the father waiting for the prodigal son to return. It was Noah's flood that manifested the wickedness of man.

And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. (Genesis 6: 5) So God destroyed all but Noah and his family of eight. This is the result of those who have left the first God.
The absence of God's intervention indicates the evil heart that humans would to be like God. So they are destroyed bY God. And God promised Noah a rainbow : "I will not choose to destroy all human beings again." The rainbow is a sign to remember that there was a judgment by the flood. God will partly intervene in humans and judge them if they go wrong.

So, in the second step, it was Israel's choice that God intervened in humans, realizing that all humans had left God. And God gave Israel the law. Israel is the model of all mankind. In contrasting Israel and Gentiles, God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, who had followed the wickedness of those who had left God. At that time, only Israel, Lot, and his family (who became a pillar of salt) were saved.

This salvation may be explained by the typology that God's people will be saved at the end of the future. Watch this. God is warning that Israel can be like this.

Israel received the law from God (the law of wrath) but died before the land of Canaan, except Joshua, Caleb, and children under the age of 19 of the first generation from Egypt. While all Israelites saw the ten plagues and miracles of the Red Sea, which God had done in Egypt, they did not believe God's word, "If you enter Canaan, you will give the promised land." Forty years in the wilderness, the Israelites offered gifts and sacrifices to God, but through the prophet Amos, God said, "I have never received gifts and sacrifices." The death of the Israelites in the wilderness is a partial judgment, but Israel sinned because he failed to keep the law to God, and the nation was destroyed by the Roman armies in A.D. 80 when Jesus came.

The destruction of Israel is the third event of wicked humans after the Flood of Noah and the judgment of Sodom and Gomorrah.

And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh. Then let them which are in Judæa flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto. For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. (Luke 21: 20-22) The Bible expresses the day of punishment for all that is written. All that is written is the law (the law of wrath), which punishes the sin of not keeping it. The law (law of wrath) cannot achieve righteousness. God gave the law to Israel: "Understand the sin that left God through the law and find Christ." But the Israelites did not find Christ; they thought that if they just kept the law, they could be righteous.

Fourth, God teaches all human beings that through Jesus Christ they are those who have left God. God came directly to atone for the sins of human beings in the flesh, because human beings cannot solve their own problems. The model of Israel failed, and now all Gentiles were given the gospel of God's salvation. Gentiles must realize that they are sinners who are forced to die, repent, and die with Jesus Christ. This is salvation. But many still think "the world is good and they can be like God."

Jesus ascended and will return to judge those who are not in Christ. The restoration of Israel in the Bible is the work of the Messiah after Jesus' second coming. Not only for Israel, but for all humans, the kingdom of the Messiah appears. However, many people today speak of the "recovery of Israel" for independent Israel in 1948. We must realize that the restoration of Israel in the Bible is not a kingdom of Israel but a kingdom of God to be restored on earth.
