The parable of the talent

(Matthew 25: 14-30)
For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods.  And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey. Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents. And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two. But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord's money. After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them. And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more. His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.  He also that had received two talents came and said, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them. His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed: And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine. His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed: Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury.  Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents.  For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath. And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

The Bible mostly speaks of parables because it is not easy to understand unless they are parables about the kingdom of God. In particular, the secret of the kingdom of God is said to be a secret hidden from the foundation of the world, and the parable in Matthew 13 tells us by giving parables. Therefore, the parable is not the superficial content of the Bible, but there is a hidden content within the Word.

We should think of what the Apostle Paul said when speaking of the Jews, not the Jews on the surface, but the Jews on the back. The Jews chosen by God are the the Jews on the back.

In Matthew 25:30And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Who is the target? There are several Bible verses related to this. Here is what Jesus heals a centurion servant's illness. Even if Jesus doesn't go, he sees and speaks to the centurion's belief that "Jesus would be better the servant was sick."

In Matthew 8: 11-12And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven. But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. The native children of the country are the Israelites. After all, what is said in Matthew 25:30 means Israel.

Luke 13: 28-30 speaks similarly. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out.  And they shall come from the east, and from the west, and from the north, and from the south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God. And, behold, there are last which shall be first, and there are first which shall be last.

It means that the Israelites will be driven out. There are three expressions of the Israelites. Out of the way, the first one is later, sad and gnashing of teeth. The one who received one talent represents Israel. In When Someone Goes to Another Country, some say Jesus. The meaning of "going to another country" means to be in the world and ascend to the kingdom of God.

Jesus was born under the law, died on the cross, fulfilled the law, and took away all the sins of the repentant. When Jesus goes to another country (Heaven), there is something left for the servants, which is said in Matthew 28: 19-20.Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

It is to preach the word of God. Jesus expressed God's Word as a business, saying, "I gave you five talents of gold according to your talents," but "by talent" does not mean human talent, but in Greek it is called Dunamis (power). According to the power of Jesus (to heal, to cause various miracles), it is to make lifeless to be lifeless.

In the five talents of gold, there is no expression of gold in the Greek text. The talent is the Hebrew word Kikar (bread loaf). Five talents means five round loaves. It means that the word of God is five, and it symbolizes the Pentateuch (law). The law is the word of God, not a true image, but a shadow. Since the law (promise) is a shadow, the true image is Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God. In Hebrews 10: 1For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect. The Old Testament sin offering is the shadow of the cross of Jesus Christ.

In Galatians 3:24,Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. It means that the law is the schoolmaster who leads to Jesus Christ. The five talents mentioned above refer to the Pentateuch, and the Pentateuch promises about Christ, which means that the Israelites do not come to meet Jesus Christ. Two talents are likewise two loaves of bread. The law is the shadow of good things to come. The law is a promise and a prophecy. The Pentateuch is to see Christ. Jesus Christ is the bread of life (Hebrew: Kikar). Two loaves of bread are Jesus' first coming and second coming.

The one who received one talent means Israel. When the word of prophecy is fulfilled, it is one. In Acts 15: 15-17And to this agree the words of the prophets; as it is written,  After this I will return, and will build again the tabernacle of David, which is fallen down; and I will build again the ruins thereof, and I will set it up: That the residue of men might seek after the Lord, and all the Gentiles, upon whom my name is called, saith the Lord, who doeth all these things. This means that Jesus will return and build the Messianic Kingdom and restore Israel, but in the meantime, the Gentiles will be saved. It is said that Israel received both prophecy and fulfillment, but they do not know salvation.

Five talents and two talents add up to seven talents, and the number seven is said to be a complete number. It means to enter the rest. In Genesis 2, everything was over and rested. Likewise, when Jesus comes again and forms the Messianic Kingdom, the Word of God is over. God gave the people of Israel the word of promise and the word composed in one, why do they not know? This is because God has closed Israel's eyes and ears. Israel received a talent and hid it in the ground. The land is a chaotic and empty place. They are in the dark.

Those who received five talents and two talents made a profit by doing business. "Doing business" means "doing things that are eternal." Working in Genesis means cultivating the land (Abad). Sowing the seeds is to spread the word of God. The Israelites asked Jesus. What is it to make eternal life (Elgazomine)? Jesus replied, "People are believing in the Son sent by God." In John 5:17, But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work. "The thing that did God's work is" do business. " It was God's work to get life from five loaves of bread. The phrase "convinced the one whom God sent" means that the truth revealed in the law is well explained, taught, and taught to see Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the bread of life. If you preach Jesus Christ and gain life, you have done a good job.

A person who has received five talents and two talents can be said to understand the meaning. And it can be said that he can do the work of God. Those who have realized what has been done through the law are capable of doing the work of God, the talent. Making a profit by doing business means that they made Jesus' disciples.
