God created man in his own image
Genesis 1:24-27『And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so. And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good. And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. 』
What is God's image? Many people misunderstand God's image as a character. So, they think that people have good things because they have the character of God in their hearts. However, when people live in the world, they say that they have sinned so much that they have lost the character of God and need to recover again.『 God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness 』,『 God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them 』 God's image is not what the human eye sees. In John 4:24『 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. 』 The Spirit appears in the living beings by the power of the Holy Spirit. This is the image of God. In Colossians 1:15『 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: 』 It is Jesus who appears as "the visible image of God" as the "invisible image.""Our image" means that "Invisible God" appears as "visible God" as "The Spirit of God works in Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit."
In Isaiah 9:6『 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. 』
Isaiah said, "A child (Jesus Christ) is the Almighty God and the eternal God." So it's called Immanuel, which means "God is with us." In Hebrews 1:3,『 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; 』 The body is God. In John 1:18, "No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. In John 14:9,『 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? 』 God is in Jesus Christ. The invisible God appeared through Jesus Christ as the visible God. He had already planned to appear on earth as God who looks like this before the creation of the world. In Ephesians 1:4『 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: 』
『 God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness 』 Shape means a shape that already exists. God had the Israelites build a tabernacle in the shape of heaven. God looks like "being Jesus who has a body". In the Old Testament, Jehovah God is the Jesus who came in the flesh in the New Testament.
"Let's make a person like this," he said. Just as God entered and shaped Jesus Christ, God makes humans so. God puts the spirits that have left God in the soil to become human. So, the spirit appears in the shape of a living creature. The spirit that sinned in the kingdom of God entered the earth after Christ (the first man), and then returned to the kingdom of God after Christ (the last man).
God told humans not to make images. In Exodus 20:4, 『Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:』 The image has already been made on this earth, and humans are trying to make it. God's image is the first person, Adam. In other words, the spirit appeared in the flesh. Adam was built in the image of God. God's image is not inherited. So Adam is a symbol of Christ.
God made an image, but humans say that they make an image, so God said not to make an idol. Humans worship this idol like God. The image of the first man was made, and in the words "in our image" the first man is expected to come. The first man, Adam, is the Christ who will come again (the last Adam).『God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness:』 God pours the spirit into living things, creates the image of God (the first person), and through the seed of the first person, "spirits that have sinned in all the kingdom of God" come to the world.
In Genesis 2:18『 And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him. 』 It is originally one, but being divided and becoming a part becomes "living alone". The first man, Adam, was born into this world. He was alone. Being alone means that the Spirit is alone. That is why the sinful spirit who was with God in the kingdom must come. So, it means to become one through the separation of the body from Adam. In Genesis 2:24, 『And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed. And the couple united, making the child's body, and the spirits coming into it.
"An help" does not mean a wife, but means something that needs help. Talk about in Genesis 2:18 an help, and then in Genesis 2:19 『 And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof. 』 Animals also needed Adam's help to get a name, and spirits who had sinned in the kingdom of God also needed a body to enter. So, the Bible explains what needs help as an help. There are two types of objects that need an help in Chapter 2:18-19. They are wild animals and birds built from the soil of the earth, and the other are spirits that will come to the earth through making a body from Adam. Ultimately, all living lives needing the help of Jesus Christ. The reason creatures are reproduced is the power of Christ to help.
In 1 Corinthians 15:39-40, 『All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds. There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another. 』
Every life dies for one seed, so it is reproduced in the next generation. However, human beings have a spirit, and they are resurrected in the body of the spirit. In 1 Corinthians 15:45 『And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. Because human beings have a spirit, they have entered into life and become God's image in Adam, but they take off the body of flesh in Christ, put on the body of spirit, and return to the kingdom of God again.
