Let there be light: and there was light
In Genesis 1:3, "And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. 』
The light in 1:3 is different from the light in the kingdom of God. The kingdom of God is light without darkness. 1 John 1:5 『This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. 』. However, the light of the world is a light that presupposes darkness. If the light is obscured, it becomes dark. When God created heaven and earth, the world was darkness. The word dark means that there is no God. Meanwhile, God created the light. This light is the light of matter. So this light is not the light of God.
Why did God not let God's light shine, but the light of material on the world? Light serves to illuminate darkness. When light comes, darkness disappears, and when light goes, darkness comes. So, light and darkness are not together. Light is the source of the power that life can grow and sustain in the world. However, this light is irrelevant to the God-given spirit. So, this light is not true light. Then why did God create the light of the world? Because the world is dark.
This world was a vacant, dark place filled with the blocking of God's light. God created the light of the world to light up the darkness. The purpose of God's creation of light in the world is that it promises to one day shine the true light on the world. We must remember that when this world was created, it was a world of darkness. Some say that the world created by God is so beautiful because there is light, but it is not. The source of this world is darkness. The darkness disappears only when the light comes.
God has no darkness at all. When God shines light, darkness does not exist. In Revelation 21:23-25『And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it. And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there. 』 The castle refers to the New Jerusalem, the new heaven and new earth. In Revelation 22:5,『 And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever. 』
When God created heaven and earth, this world was made of water. On top of that, the Holy Spirit embraces the egg and surrounds the world. So God blocked the light of heaven and created the physical light to light up the darkness. Physical light contains God's promise (true light). However, true light has appeared in this world. In John 1:9, 『That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. "True light means Jesus Christ." If God directs the true light, the purpose of trapping the sinful spirit in this world is lost. It is to look at the true light as they find light in the dark. So when God's light is revealed, God's glory shines.
In 2 Corinthians 4:6『For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. 』 Here, the Apostle Paul said, "The God who said that light should shine in the dark." The word is the promise of God. These words are from Genesis 1:3, “And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.』 The words of Genesis 1:3 indicate that God's glory in the heart of the repentant is Jesus Christ. So, through the realization of being trapped in the darkness while in this world, repenting of being a person who has left the kingdom of God, and shining the true light through Jesus Christ to those who want to return to the kingdom of God again. This is the purpose of God's creation of light in the world of darkness.
The reason God created the material world was to trap the sinful spirit in the kingdom of God. So, God is giving Satan a world of material and building their kingdom. But when they realize that it is impossible for them to achieve righteousness on their own, it is to discover Jesus Christ and repent and return. The way to repent and return to the kingdom of God is to return when they wear the body of the spirit in association with Jesus Christ, who died on the cross. So all sin in the world is gone. In Romans 6:4-7『Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. For he that is dead is freed from sin. 』
However, those who are deceived by the Devil and reject the will of God, want to continue to be like God themselves. God will leave them alone. God chose a people. Israel. Israel was chosen as the model of the world. People of the world see and learn through Israel. However, Israel forsaken the will of God and eventually perished. Salvation was passed on to the Gentiles. God gave the Israelites a law and told them to keep right and fulfill righteousness. In other words, God is helping people realize that they are sinners while keeping the law and discovering the Christ contained in the law.
In the kingdom of God, the spirits who have sinned are following Satan, who is deceived to be like God without God, so God is telling them to do righteousness without God himself. However, when they find Christ, the true light, and repent and return to the kingdom of God, God accepts them as sons as in the parable of the prodigal son. But if they continue to insist on achieving righteousness themselves, if they fail to achieve righteousness without God, they will be judged. Everyone cannot achieve righteousness without God on their own. Because all people born in this world are sinners. In Revelation 12:9 『And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. Those who follow Satan will be judged by God like Satan.
