Spiritual blind man

And it came to pass, that as he was come nigh unto Jericho, a certain blind man sat by the way side begging: And hearing the multitude pass by, he asked what it meant. And they told him, that Jesus of Nazareth passeth by. And he cried, saying, Jesus, thou son of David, have mercy on me. And they which went before rebuked him, that he should hold his peace: but he cried so much the more, Thou son of David, have mercy on me. And Jesus stood, and commanded him to be brought unto him: and when he was come near, he asked him, Saying, What wilt thou that I shall do unto thee? And he said, Lord, that I may receive my sight. And Jesus said unto him, Receive thy sight: thy faith hath saved thee. And immediately he received his sight, and followed him, glorifying God: and all the people, when they saw it, gave praise unto God. (Luke 18:35-43) The blind man screamed as he followed Jesus. This is because the blind heard rumors that Jesus healed the sick. “Son of David, have mercy on me.” Calling a descendant of David means the Messiah. But Jesus heard their cry and just went into someone's house. Still, he came into the house. Jesus said to him, "Do you believe that I can do this?" He replied, "Lord, yes." Then Jesus touched his eyes and told them to be according to your faith, and his eyes were brightened. Here, too, many people say, "It goes according to their beliefs," emphasizing people's faith. Faith that is healed does not directly lead to faith that is saved. Faith must come from God. This is a gift from God to those who repent. People can come and get healed by faith that they will heal their sickness without repenting, but it cannot be viewed as being directly connected to salvation. Salvation is giving God as a gift of faith to those who repent. When Jesus told the blind man to do what he believed, his eyes really opened. But Jesus gave a severe warning. Jesus told him to be careful and not let anyone know. But he went out and spread the word of Jesus all over the earth. Why did Jesus tell people not to make known that they were healed? The reason is the fulfillment of the prophet Isaiah's prophecy. According to the prophecy of Isaiah 42:7, the Messiah opens the eyes of the blind, brings the prisoner out of prison, and brings the seated in darkness out of the cell, which means only to open the eyes of the physical blindness or to be released from prison. It is not. Jesus opened the eyes of the blind to give spiritual freedom to those who were caught by evil. God opens spiritual eyes to those who repent and come into Jesus Christ.
