As many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God

As many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God

(John 1:9-13)That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

The reactions of the people of this world to Jesus who came to this earth in the flesh were clearly divided. One is those who believe and accept that Jesus is the Son of God and the Lord of life, who has given a light of hope to those in the midst of the despair of death. The other is the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. They do not know who Jesus is and do not want to believe His words. For those who do not recognize and do not understand the Savior Jesus Christ, who is the light, God has chosen and sent one person in advance to proclaim the coming light, the Savior. John, in charge of this work, is "the purpose for which God sent Himself" in this world. He realized that he was not the light but that he came to testify about the light, and he realized his mission and faithfully carried out the tasks entrusted to him.

He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. John the Baptist, introducing himself, said that he would follow Jesus and live as a witness of Jesus. He makes "a lot of people who want to be noticed by being a light" think once again about how followers of Christ should live. Jesus Christ, the Creator, who was in the beginning as the Word and now came to the earth He created in a human body.Although there were many who did not accept Jesus Christ, he said, God gave the privilege of becoming children to those who believed that the Son of God, Jesus Christ, was their savior.

God has given the saints the privilege of living as God's children by calling God Father through Jesus Christ, who had been cut off from their relationship with God because of sin. When people do not know about God, and when they do not accept God and His Son, Jesus Christ, humans value themselves the most and set goals for what is beneficial to them and live their lives. I was at the center of the world, and even though I was living in the yoke of self-centeredness, I came to think that this kind of life was the most important and meaningful life to me.

However, when I realize how dirty and ugly I am as a sinner, how many things I can't do on my own, and how weak and humble I used to think I was. I finally realize that I can't save myself, and I realize that my weakness and problems can be solved with help from outside, not myself. And realizing that only the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who is full of grace and truth, can save me. It is to repent to God, die with Jesus Christ, and be born again into a new life. Many churches today are deceived. Jesus Christ in the Bible is so charming. He is the kind of person who inspires people with his words, so that people who do not believe in Jesus will have no choice but to accept Jesus when they come to know him. But the Israelites killed the prophet and Christ. It's not that they want to receive a son, but rather, "If we kill the Son of God, this land is ours." This is the biblical declaration.

Those who cannot make Jesus the Lord have only the wrath of God. Those who do not repent to God do not have the heart to accept Jesus as Lord in them. If he says, "Oh, let's believe in Jesus and be saved," without even repenting, he's just using Jesus as the means of salvation. Anyone who preaches a different Jesus from the Bible will be cursed. Unless man repents of God, all men become slayers of the vineyard owner's son. They have nothing but their idol, greed, who wants to take over the vineyard. This greedy heart is no different from the time of Noah's flood and now. This is the state of the human heart in Romans 1-3. Therefore, all human beings are under the wrath and judgment of God. Heaven is the king's preparation for his son's wedding feast. That is the father's heart. The king called the people, but no one came. Everyone agreed and declined, said Jesus. So the king sent his servants back. But the people beat the servants and killed them. There is no country in this world where the king has invited him to the wedding feast and not one of them has come. One thing is that it is only applicable to the kingdom of God.

In the heart of unrepentant human beings, there is only the desire to become the master. But we do not know this, because the devil is our father. Even those who look good to the world and those who look evil do not repent to God, then the devil is the master in them. They say that they accept Jesus Christ and live with them as their master, but most of them are themselves the master. This is the unrepentant one.
