(John 6:60)Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is an hard saying; who can hear it?

Jesus said in verses 55-57, For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him. As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me. , but the disciples said it was difficult. Because in the Old Testament it is not allowed to drink the blood of beasts. But Jesus believes and follows that he is the Son of God, saying, ``He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him. . So the disciples grumbled, and Jesus said again in verse 63.

When Jesus knew in himself that his disciples murmured at it, he said unto them, Doth this offend you? What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before? He It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

It was difficult for people to accept what Jesus was saying. When Nicodemus came to Jesus at night, did Jesus tell Nicodemus, who knows the Old Testament well, "You must be born again" that is difficult to accept?

Even today, it will not be easy to accept the words of Jesus, "Do not love the world." Even if he said words that are difficult to accept, there are some who follow Jesus, and some who do not follow because they are difficult. People just want to reach salvation by putting aside difficult words and choosing words that are easy to believe.

Jesus said again in verse 65, "And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father. People are more familiar with the words of Matthew, "Come to me, all those who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." Why are the two Gospels of John and Matthew different? The Gospel of Matthew is easily accepted by those who attend church. The Gospel of Matthew believes that if we choose to go to the Lord, we will let the Lord rest. However, it does not come easily to the words of verse 65.

And people might think, "I don't need to work hard." You will think that the person led by the Lord will come naturally. And in verse 66, "From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him. People are leaving, so why did Jesus say this? More people would want to be saved, but why did Jesus say this, knowing that he would be leaving?

Afterwards, there is a conversation with Peter: ``Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away? Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life. And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God. "I answered. We always hope for the Lord's mercy before we try. This is the one who is under the law who does not want the mercy of the Lord and strives hard. These people believed in Jesus, but they left him. Like Lot's wife, we can abandon God by trusting and following God. People don't know they can be Lot's wife. So you have to fear God. Only if there is no faith united with Jesus Christ, who died on the cross, he will be a thrower of Jesus.

In 1 John 2:15-16, "Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
