You hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;

You hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;

(Ephesians 2:1-2)And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:

After Adam and Eve ate of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, their flesh was alive, but in spirit they died to God. I could still hear God's voice, but I was hiding in the forest of the Garden of Eden. A church service or ceremony can be a forest in the Garden of Eden. If you live in hiding in these worship services and ceremonies, go out into society and live according to your flesh, you will become dead to God in spirit.

The worship or ordinance of the church does not lead to salvation. This is just a shadow. In the Old Testament times, whenever they came to the sanctuary, they had to bring an animal to receive blood. That was worship. There was no worship without the shedding of blood. There was no forgiveness of sins without the shedding of blood. It is because of the one-time death of Jesus Christ that we can go free and free today. That is why we come to God because Jesus died on behalf of those who claim to believe. All people are dead in trespasses and sins. that the spirit is dead. The spirit does not come back to life just because we worshiped. In Transgressions and Sins Transgressions refer to the sins that people have committed in the world, and sin means original sin.

To die in trespasses and sins means that the spirit God has given has died. Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air

If we do not repent, all people are in this condition. Even if we go to church, if there are people who follow the world's customs, we will be in the state of Ephesians 1:2.

When the Israelites left Egypt, the Red Sea parted, and at that time they were physically saved from the army of King Pharaoh. They roared and ran for joy. But when they went out into the wilderness, they complained to God after three days because the road was rough. For the next 40 years, everything that came out of the people was a sin. However, their bodies survived by eating the manna given from heaven every day. I worshiped every day while looking at the pillar of cloud and pillar of fire. But every day they sinned. Sometimes they took stones to kill Moses.

After a year had passed, they celebrated the Passover once (to commemorate the time they left Egypt), and the Lord said, "Spy out the promised Canaan."

It is said that all those who came out of Egypt (except Joshua and Caleb) wept when they heard this lie. They did not believe the promises of the Lord, but believed the words of the ten spies. Likewise, Romans 1-3 speaks of the state of sin of all people. People are unaware of their condition. If you don't look at yourself, you can't see the evil side of the Lord. It will result in disbelief in the words of the Lord.

If we do not have faith to enter Canaan, we cannot enter the kingdom of God. God did not teach the faith to enter the kingdom of God for 40 years, but the faith to enter the land of Canaan. So, the old man who could not enter Canaan had to die. Because the master of the old man is the devil. The old man said, I would rather have come to Egypt. They said in Egypt, "I ate green onions, garlic, leeks, cucumbers, melons." Their bodies came out of Egypt, but their souls are in Egypt. The spirit cannot rise again until the soul dies in the wilderness. So they follow the world's customs. He still longs for Egypt.

Egypt is the world. They follow the fashions of the world and love them. So the standard becomes the world. If we do this in the church, even if we go to church for the rest of our lives, we cannot be saved. We can be saved only when these soulful thoughts die with Jesus.

The Lord did not bring the Israelites out of Egypt to die in the wilderness, but to bring them into Canaan. But when they enter Canaan, they think, We will die because of the descendants of Anak. Satan makes it so. Satan is wiser than man. Only when one overcomes Satan can he wear white clothes. This is what Jesus taught his disciples for three years. The Lord performed a wonderful miracle for His disciples. It was as if the Hebrew people experienced a wonderful miracle when they left Egypt. And Jesus chose the twelve disciples and said, "If anyone denies me to men, I will also deny you before my Father."

However, they all ran away from the cross of Jesus. It is as if all the Hebrews wept and wept in front of the land of Canaan. In order to be saved, it is not that a person is saved when he confesses, but only when Jesus confesses before God can he be saved.
