Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling

(Philippians 2:12-14)Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure. Do all things without murmurings and disputings:

Here's what's facing each other. From God's point of view, For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure. For those who believe, ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. Many churches today do not say these two words, but say, "If you have faith, you will be saved."

The word salvation is used in several places in the Bible that healing is also salvation. However, the Bible says, Work out your salvation with fear and trembling regarding the salvation of the spirit. Salvation in the Bible and the actions of those who believe are different. We must break free from false salvation in this contradiction.

Regarding Work out your salvation with fear and trembling, in 1 Corinthians 10:1-5, Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea. ; And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea; And did all eat the same spiritual meat; And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ. But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness.

The spiritual drink is the Holy Spirit. But "with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness". They did not follow Christ, but Christ followed them. It means that drinking spiritual food and drink from Christ is not the motive for salvation.

The Apostle Paul, writing to the church in Corinth, said, Beware of this and be afraid. In 10:7-10, there are four reasons for the destruction: idolatry, adultery, temptation, and resentment. So, in 9:27, But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: least that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.

After Paul preached the gospel, he said, I myself should be a castaway. He was not speaking of the assurance of salvation, he was afraid of being rejected. Why did he say this?

1 Corinthians 2:2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. Why does the church in Corinth say this to those who were baptized? There are many people who have received gifts in this church, so why not even mention the resurrection?

Paul saw the glory of the Lord's right hand throne in Damascus, and it is truly amazing that he said, "He resolved not to know anything except that which was crucified." While we believe in God, we can eat delicious food, drink spiritual drinks as much as we believe, and experience the Holy Spirit. But the fact is that repentance only takes place on the cross. In 1 Corinthians 2:3, Paul said, And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling. He says in 1 Thessalonians that he has come to you with power, love, and great conviction. Why does the church in Corinth say this?

Paul is trying to speak of an attitude toward repentance. Standing before God in fear. Paul talks about repentance when he goes to 2 Corinthians, but in 2 Corinthians 7:8, For though I made you sorry with a letter, I do not repent, though I did repent: for I perceive that the same epistle hath made. you sorry, though it were but for a season.

All those who rejected Paul's words went out. In 7:10, For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death. Repentance has symptoms. In verse 11, For behold this selfsame thing, that ye sorrowed after a godly sort, what carefulness it wrought in you, yea, what clearing of yourselves, yea, what indignation, yea, what fear, yea, what vehement desire, yea, what zeal, yea, what revenge! In all things ye have approved yourselves to be clear in this matter. This is the process and symptom of repentance.

People today do not know what repentance is, and even though they have never repented, they think they are saved because they believe in Jesus. They live their lives as they please, and they think they are saved. Everything that comes out of them is carnal thoughts and they think they are born again. Life is Ishmael. We must preach the real gospel, both within and outside the church. Thinking according to one's own will is proof that you have not repented. Why punish, grieve, and tremble? We can't stand it because the Lord shines the true light to show that we are under sin and under the law.

The church is a place where believers gather. The saints are those who repent and are born again of water and the Spirit. Otherwise, it is not a church. There are many fake churches because many churches do not speak of repentance, nor do they repent, but they just say they are saints.

If we look at Paul's epistles, every church has an aspect of sin because they have not repented. If you repent, the Lord will give you faith. But today, many church people say, "I believe, but repentance is not good." Why did this false doctrine arise? It is not repentance that the Lord helps, but the faith of the repentant. The only thing a sinner can do is repent. But even if people try to repent, they can't do it, and they can't obey. They continue to live contradictory lives. Therefore, prayer is not answered. There is no fruit, and they are just leading a religious life. Repentance is realizing that you have left God and turning to God.

Many church people today try to repent with the consequences of their actions. It is the fruit of sin. You must have the root of your sin and repent. Idols, adultery, resentment, anger, and temptation are hidden within the root of sin. Instead of repenting with the consequences of sin, you must repent of being a sinner. The sinner must die. But people leave death to Jesus alone, and they do not die. Why didn't he die? We must die on the cross with Jesus. this is repentance This will change the owner. This can be known only through the fruits of repentance. who is the owner. Dead works and dead words without repentance are all dead fruits.
