  6. Sand and stars   That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy   seed   as the stars of the   heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy   seed   shall possess the gate of his enemies; כִּֽי־בָרֵ֣ךְ   אֲבָרֶכְךָ֗   וְהַרְבָּ֨ה   אַרְבֶּ֤ה   אֶֽת־זַרְעֲךָ֙   כְּכֹוכְבֵ֣י   הַשָּׁמַ֔יִם   וְכַחֹ֕ול   אֲשֶׁ֖ר   עַל־שְׂפַ֣ת   הַיָּ֑ם   וְיִרַ֣שׁ   זַרְעֲךָ֔   אֵ֖ת   שַׁ֥עַר   אֹיְבָֽיו׃ Blessing means blessing from heaven. Since the seed represents Christ, the blessing that comes from heaven means that the saint can return to the kingdom of God. Abraham's children are Ishmael and Isaac.   In the Book of Exodus, we see the story of the Israelites escaping from Egypt under the guidance of Moses. When the people saw the ten plagues on Egypt, they realized that God was protecting and guiding them, and they were trusting in God. And when they witnessed the parting of the Red Sea, they must have been truly shocked and moved by the power of God.
