6. Sand and stars

That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;

Blessing means blessing from heaven. Since the seed represents Christ, the blessing that comes from heaven means that the saint can return to the kingdom of God. Abraham's children are Ishmael and Isaac. The seed with heavenly blessings that God speaks of here refers to Isaac.

Conversely, the one who has the blessings of the earth will be Ishmael. In other words, all the people of the world will prosper due to the blessings of the earth, and all the peoples of the world will receive the blessings of heaven through Isaac (Jesus Christ).

In the original Hebrew text, it is said that God blesses blessings, not great blessings (כִּֽי־בָרֵ֣ךְ אֲבָרֶכְךָ֗ )The first blessing in Hebrew is Barak (בָרֵ֣ךְ)and the second blessing is Abarak (אֲבָרֶכְךָ֗)The first one, Barak, is the blessing of the earth (the first Adam), and the second one is the heavenly blessing (the last Adam). The true nature of Barak is Tzera (Seed). Barak has conflicting meanings of blessing and cursing. The blessings of heaven are linked to the death of the cross.

and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed, in Hebrew it means multiply (raba) and multiply (arava). Multiply means that all people on earth should multiply as people of Gods kingdom through Christ. In Genesis 12:1-3, Now the LORD had said to Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee: And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore. The people of this land, that is, those who follow the law (Ishmael) (sand), also increase, and those who spiritually follow Christ (Isaac) ( stars) will also increase.

The stars of the heaven symbolize the Son of God (Messiah). In Numbers 24:17, I shall see him, but not now: I shall behold him, but not nigh: there shall come a Star out of Jacob, and a Scepter shall rise out of Israel, and shall smite the corners of Moab. , and destroy all the children of Sheth.Revelation 22:16 also uses the expression morning star. I Jesus have sent my angel to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.

About the sand, in Jeremiah 15:8, Their widows are increased to me above the sand of the seas: I have brought upon them against the mother of the young men a spoiler at noonday: I have caused him to fall upon it suddenly. , and terrors upon the city.connects the relationship between sand and widows. In Habakkuk 1:9, They shall come all for violence: their faces shall sup up as the east wind, and they shall gather the captivity as the sand. Sand means captivity.
