Jesus heals a blind man at Batheda

Mark 8:22-26And he came to Bethsaida; and they brought a blind man unto him, and thought him to touch him. And he took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the town; and when he had spit on his eyes, and put his hands upon him, he asked him if he saw ought. And he looked up, and said, I see men as trees, walking. After that he put his hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly. And he sent him away to his house, saying, Neither go into the town, nor tell it to any. in the town.( )

There is a difference between the Netslaland Bible and the Stephanus Bible. In Chapter 7, Verse 26 of the Stephanus Bible, there is a part that says, μηδ εἰς τν κώμην (Komen) εσέλθῃς. (And he said, Do not tell it to anyone in the village.), but it is not in the Netslaland Bible. It is not in the Revised Version and English Bible (NIV), but since the KJV Bible translates the Stephen Bible, it is expressed as nor tell it to any in the town.

Duplon (τυφλν), translated as blind, comes from the word tupou, which means arrogant. In 1 Timothy 3:6, Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fell into the condemnation of the devil. A proud person means someone who is in legalism.

In addition to the meaning of to touch, to touch, ψηται also has the meaning of to relate. This word is also used in Mark 7:33. The root of hexato is derived from hexaz (to light a fire), and in Luke 8:16 it says, No man, when he hath lighted a candle, covereth it with a vessel, or putteth it under a bed; but set it on a candlestick, that they which enter in may see the light.

Epilabomenos (πιλαβόμενος) means to strengthen or hold on (to achieve a goal), and in Acts 9:27 it says, But Barnabas took him, and brought him to the apostles, and declared unto them. how he had seen the Lord in the way, and that he had spoken to him, and how he had preached boldly at Damascus in the name of Jesus. And in Luke 9:47, And Jesus, perceiving the thought of their heart, took(Ephilabomenos) a child, and set him by him, here, this is a message to a legalist (blind person) who does not know about the kingdom of God. It means holding on tightly in order to know the gospel.

Ommata (μματα) is translated as eye, but its etymology is derived from μματα, which means with wide-open eyes, directed toward something remarkable. Those who do not know the kingdom of God have their eyes turned to the law. Those who keep the law and practice righteousness look to the rules of the law.

Pthysas (πτύσας) means folding a scroll. In Luke 4:20, And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him."Folding the scroll (Bible)" means folding it around the place where the words Jesus wanted to say are located.

In "Episeis tas cheiras" (translated as πέθηκεν τς χερας laying on hands), epi means to add something on top of a distribution. Tas is an article, and cheiras means hand or power. In Luke 1:66, And all they that heard them laid them up in their hearts, saying, What manner of child shall this be! And the hand of the Lord was with him.

Regarding Blephais (Can you see?) and Anablepas (ναβλέψας), Jesus asked Blephais, and the man (the blind man) answered Anablepas. Blephais means to see, know, and realize, and here, Jesus is asking whether you understand the kingdom of God. However, the blind man replies, I see with my physical eyes. Jesus asked a question spiritually, but he answered with his physical eyes. So Jesus tries again.

I see men as trees, (Andropus hotihos dendra νθρώπους τι ὡς δένδρα) walking. (Peripatuntas περιπατοντας)

Andropus is a man. In Ephesians 3:5, Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit; The secret was revealed to the holy apostles and prophets. The other generation refers to the generation without the Holy Spirit. The Sons of Man of another generation represent Jews caught up in legalism.

Tendra is derived from Drus (oak tree), symbolizes a fig tree, and means Israel. This refers to Jews who have fallen into legalism. A person who cannot see the kingdom of God is spiritually blind, and all he sees is legalism.

Peripatuntas (περιπατοντας) means to act, to follow (the doctrine of the Word, etc.). In Ephesians 4:1, I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,

Ofdalmus (φθαλμος), like Ommata in the previous part, is translated as eye. Ophdalmus is a word derived from Ophtanomai, which is a variant of the word Horao. An example of this word being used is Hebrews 9:28, So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear(Horao) the second time without sin unto salvation. We can know that the kingdom of God appears through Jesus to the spiritually blind who cannot see the kingdom of God.

In the difference between "Episei tas queiras (πέθηκεν τς χερας) and laying hands on him again" and "Episei tas queiras (laying on hands)" in the previous part, ephedeken has the meaning of adding, laying down, and Jephthah. In Luke 4:40, Now when the sun was setting, all they that had any sick with divers diseases brought them unto him; and he laid his hands on every one of them, and healed them.

Episeis (πιθες) is a demonstration of the power of miracles to help those who have fallen into legalism come out of it. However, Jews do not view Jesus Christ as the Son of God, but as a powerful Messiah. So, the Jews thought of Jesus as the Messiah who would overthrow Rome. However, secondly, ephedeken (πέθηκεν) is seen as Christ dying on the cross and being resurrected. So, the spiritually dead sick people died in union with the hands of Jesus and were raised (resurrected) by his hands, and all their illnesses were cured. He (the blind man) came to know about the kingdom of God. The Bible makes us realize that the kingdom of God does not lie in legalism, but in discovering Christ hidden in the law and accepting Christ.

made him look up(Dieblesen διέβλεψεν, Apecateste πεκατέστη): and he was restored(Telaugos τηλαυγῶς), and saw every man clearly. And Dieblessen means opening the eyes. (He opened his eyes) Apecateste means to recover. In Acts 1:6, When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? People are criminal beings on this earth. Although they were in a prison called the world, the kingdom of God is restored through Christ and they become free people.

he sent him away to his house, saying, Neither go into the town, nor tell it to any. in the town(komen κώμην)

Oikon has the meaning of temple in addition to the meaning of house or home. Jesus sent the man to the temple. This temple represents the kingdom of God (heaven) in his heart.

Apestelen means to send or dispatch. Matthew 10:40 He that receiveth you receiveth me, and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me. As the spiritually blind establishes the kingdom of God, he becomes a minister sent by Jesus. He will preach the kingdom of God in his heart (Heaven: He Basileia ton Uranon) to people.

Komen is translated as village, and village refers to the old temple (stone temple) that has already been built. Not going into the village means not going back into legalism.

We also need to look at parts that are not in the Netsle Aland Bible. μηδ εἰς τν κώμην (Komen) εσέλθῃς. (And do not tell it to anyone in the village.)Again, this means do not even talk to the legalist in the village (old temple). Legalists are those who hinder the gospel, they are the ones who crucified Jesus, and even today, legalism is distorting the gospel.

If I were to parody and explain the contents of Mark 8:22-26, it would be as follows.

One day, while Jesus was in the temple in Jerusalem, a scribe came to see Jesus, judging that through the miracles Jesus performed, there was a high possibility that this man was the Son of God. He did not come alone, but another scribe had already experienced the power of Jesus and introduced him to him, so he came to see Jesus in the temple.

So, he tells Jesus how he came to visit him. He asked Jesus, He is a scholar of the law, but he sees your power and thinks he is clearly the Son of God. How can he enter the kingdom of God? This question is similar to the scene where Nicodemus secretly comes to Jesus one night and asks. This was because the Pharisees and the scribes had a negative view of Jesus, and if a scribe met Jesus and talked to him in this way, problems could arise. Jesus knows the situation well, so he takes this man out of the temple and talks about the kingdom of God.

Friend, you cannot enter the kingdom of God by keeping the law; you must escape from sin and get rid of your physical body. Sacrifice is performed in the temple, and killing an animal and cutting it into pieces has the meaning of dying the fleshly self, which is a sinful nature, and burning its flesh means burning the garment of the soul. So, sacrifice. Although animals die instead, sinners also die. But isn't it in the Bible that the Messiah will come to the world and save the people in place of the animals that die every day through sacrifice? That Messiah is me. If you do not pass through me, you cannot enter the kingdom of God. Do you understand now?

However, although this scholar of the law seemed to know a little, he could not speak clearly to Jesus because the law still did not leave his mind. God chose our people and gave us the law, so he keeps thinking, why can't we enter the kingdom of God through the law?

Jesus once again explained the kingdom of God. Jesus is saying that he will die on the cross and be resurrected. So, the meaning of death on the cross has the meaning of redemption, and only by being united with this redeemer can the dead spirit be resurrected. Jesus explained well that I will be the first to do so, and that those who believe in this will also be resurrected, and only then did the scribe realize what the way to enter the kingdom of God is. It was the death and resurrection of the cross.

Jesus told him, Since the stone temple is no longer where God resides, a temple will be built in your heart, and you can meet God and worship in that temple. And Jesus told him not to visit the old temple again. This is because only legalists thrive in the old temple. He also added that they should not visit the old temple or meet the scribes there.
