About forgiving brothers

Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?  Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven. Therefore is the kingdom of heaven likened unto a certain king, which would take account of his servants. And when he had begun to reckon, one was brought unto him, which owed him ten thousand talents. But forasmuch as he had not to pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, and his wife, and children, and all that he had, and payment to be made.  The servant therefore fell down, and worshipped him, saying, Lord, have patience with me, and I will pay thee all. Then the lord of that servant was moved with compassion, and loosed him, and forgave him the debt.  But the same servant went out, and found one of his fellowservants, which owed him an hundred pence: and he laid hands on him, and took him by the throat, saying, Pay me that thou owest. And his fellowservant fell down at his feet, and besought him, saying, Have patience with me, and I will pay thee all. And he would not: but went and cast him into prison, till he should pay the debt. So when his fellowservants saw what was done, they were very sorry, and came and told unto their lord all that was done.  Then his lord, after that he had called him, said unto him, O thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all that debt, because thou desiredst me:  Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I had pity on thee?  And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him.  So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses. (Matthew 18: 21-35)

Peter asked Jesus the question: How many times should I forgive my brother, who sinned against me? I asked if I could forgive him about seven times. He replied that you should forgive even seventy-seven times. It means to forgive indefinitely. It is the words of Matthew 18: 23-35 that explain whether we should give forgiveness indefinitely. That's because all humans owe 10,000 talents, and brothers owe 100 denarions. This means that 10,000 talents and 100 denarions cannot be compared. Ten thousand talents are worth $ 1 billion in terms of today, and 100 denarions are equivalent to three months' salary (thousands of dollars). It's a comparison of billions and thousands of dollars.

Therefore, it means that people must be forgiven unconditionally. When I think through these words, it means, "I am a person who has already been forgiven of great debt from God." So my sin problem was solved. Now, after having been forgiven, the problem of 100 denarions, that is, forgiving others remains. If a person who has been forgiven of 10,000 talents does not forgive the person who owes him, the cancellation of the debt of 10,000 talents is canceled. God has forgiven sins, and it is said to forgive the forgiveness, but if you forgive others later, you will restore the original position God had forgiven of your sins in the past.

A brother is a brother in Christ. Jesus said to love the brother with a new commandment. The spirit died and survived, but we must not let it go into death again. The representative story of forgiveness is Joseph's story. Joseph's brothers hated Joseph. A curse arises when we are hated and jealous. So ten of Joseph's older brothers tried to kill him and sold him for money.

This is like Garuda Judah selling Jesus for 30 silver. And Joseph became Potiphar's slave. If we are hated by anyone, life can be locked up. When life can't be misled, life is locked up. Joseph lived hard. But Potiphar's wife is trapped again. This time he was put in prison. The word of God comes from the imprisoned prison. That's what forgiveness means, "Forgive your sold brothers." When God gives us something to forgive, we must realize that it is "the most miserable time." When Jesus was betrayed and crucified, He forgave all mankind in the most miserable times. If you forgive, the history of resurrection begins.

Jesus told the story of relieving the debt of ten thousand talents as an example of sin. Through this story, we must realize that we, who are forgiven of sins from God, also need to forgive our brothers. .
