The meaning of church

 8. Church

(1) The meaning of church

『Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship. Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father. Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews. But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.』(John4:20-23)

In the Old Testament times, the Israelites worshiped in the temple in Jerusalem, In the New Testament, Saints worship the Father in spirit and in truth. The Spirit means the Holy Spirit and the truth means Jesus Christ who was died on the cross. The Saint who was died with Jesus and was born again by the Spirit, is Church. The spiritual body of the Saints become church. The Saints become one with God in Christ. This is worship. Worship is mind to confirm that the fresh is dead and the spiritual body is born again.

The new man was born by the power of the Holy Spirit.  New man is a Saint. When the Saints are gathered, it becomes church where the power of God appears. Today, the church that the Saints gather is the power of God to fight the evil of the world. But there are many false churches. The false church does not say that we must be die with Jesus on the cross. If anyone is died with Jesus, he isn't Saint. If there is no Saint in church, that church is fake.
