Abraham between two covenants

『Then Abraham fell upon his face, and laughed, and said in his heart, Shall a child be born unto him that is an hundred years old? and shall Sarah, that is ninety years old, bear?』(Genesis 17:17) It is God's unilateral grace to be called to the church. In order to be chosen, the self of the flesh must die. The people of the church are acting at the crossroads of two covenants. If you are not chosen, you stay in the half covenant. As a covenant, the one who is called is not saved. The covenant of salvation is a bilateral covenant. Bilateral covenant is the covenant of the death. Circumcision in the Old Testament and baptism in the New Testament are the covenant of the death.『He that is born in thy house, and he that is bought with thy money, must needs be circumcised: and my covenant shall be in your flesh for an everlasting covenant. And the uncircumcised man child whose flesh of his foreskin is not circumcised, that soul shall be cut off from his people; he hath broken my covenant.』(Genesis 17:13-14) Abraham was circumcised at the age of 99. But his thoughts did not die before the word of God. God said that he would give children next year, and Abraham laughed at God's words. “ Abraham says, 『I'll be 100 years old next year, it make sense to give children? 』The thought of the flesh makes us not to believe the word of God because all thoughts are based on the flesh. No matter how God created the universe, human beings think based on their own experience to God's word. That is the self(ego). All human beings who acts their self about the word of God become persons of wrath. So all human that responds to the body have no choice the salvation, so must to die. Thus the body of the spirit is judged. Repentance is the realization that flesh is the only thing that can be died because the flesh has the evil(the self, ego). Even today, most people in the Church say they believe in God, but they apply God's word to their knowledge and experience. This is the body, being trapped in the law as like the net. If the self does not die about the word of God, it is not a covenant.
