  Just as it is written that the first man Adam became a living soul, so the last Adam became a life-giving spirit.   1 Corinthians 15:42-46: “ So also is the resurrection of the dead (nekron). It is sown in corruption, raised in incorruption; it is sown in dishonor, raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, raised in strength; it is sown a physical body, raised a spiritual body. If there is a physical body, there is also a spiritual body. As it is written, ‘ The first man Adam became a living soul, ’ so the last Adam became a life-giving spirit. But first the physical man, then the spiritual man. ”   The above scripture speaks of the resurrection of the dead and the relationship between the first man and the last man mentioned in Genesis. Although “ nekron ” is translated as “ the dead, ” it does not refer to the death of the physical body, but to the death of physical life (fresh).   I affirm by my pride that I die daily   1 Corinthians 15:29-31 “ If the dead (nekron) are never raised (egeirontai), what then can those who are baptized for the dead do? Why are they baptized for them? And why do we always face danger? Brothers, I affirm by my pride in you in Christ Jesus our Lord that I die daily (apodesko). ”   The dead (nekron νεκρ ῶ ν ) refer to those whose relationship with God has been severed. Egeirontai signifies spiritual revival. The purpose of baptism is for the physical body to die and to be born again into a spiritual body. In other words, it is being born again of water and the Spirit. However, the passage asks: what use is being baptized if one does not live spiritually? It implies that in order to live spiritually, the physical body must first die.   In Romans 8:10, it states, "And if Christ is in you, though the body is dead because of sin, the spirit is alive because of righteousness."   (2) The Parable of the Prodigal Son   The Parable of the Prodigal Son tells the story of the second son who asked his father for an inheritance. After receiving the inheritance, he left home, lived a dissolute life, and eventually squandered all his wealth. After losing all his fortune, the son lived in a foreign land where pigs were raised, eating the fruit of the cypress tree. It was then that he remembered his father. He remembered that his father's hired servants lived a better life than he did. Thus, the story is about him returning to his father. However, when he returned to his father, his father did not scold him; instead, he ran to him, kissed him, and embraced him. The scene depicts the father dressing him in his finest clothes, placing a ring on his finger, putting on fine shoes, and slaughtering a calf to hold a feast.
