The thing to get Christ

We hear a lot about righreousness. The paster in the church say that Saint get righteous by faith in Jesus. But Romans (6:6-7) speaks of death with Jesus. “Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. For he that is dead is freed from sin”. There are two attributes of God: righteousness and love. But humans think of God only as love. When God's righteousness is revealed, man cannot come to God. For God's righteousness is revealed to judge sinners. So sinners cannot go to God. The Bible tells us that not to make the unrighteous one to righteous, but leave it alone. God shows righteousness, but the Paster have made humans first to be Gods of love in order to bring men to the church. So people do not fear God. So The paster say: If you believe in Jesus, you are saved. No one can go to God unless repent. If we do not repent, we cannot enter into the faith of Christ. Most pastors say that if you``believe in Jesus, and you will get righreousness.‘There is a saying in the Bible that we are righreousness by faith, but if we say it first, it will not be the gospel. When the righteousness of God is revealed, man must realize that he has to repent to God. But man does not want to repent of God. Since God is righteous, God cannot leave sinners alone. God judges sinners absolutely. God does not forgive sin. Many pastors, however, say that God forgives sinners because God is love. Human beings think that if they confess and reflect on sin, they shall be righteous. The sinner must die. The dead are free from sin. The meaning of the dead represents baptism.『Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?』(Romans 6: 3) Unless you are united with the death of Christ, you cannot be saved. It is said in 6:7 that unless we die with Jesus, we cannot escape sin. To die with Jesus is to repent. Conscientious people suffer when they think of various sins of the past. When sins come to mind, arise the desire to die and want to be born again. But we cannot die. If you confess this heart to God, God will lead you to the cross of Jesus, make to die with Jesus, and make to be born again with Jesus. It is the meaning of baptism that you are dead with Jesus. This is the essence of repentance. 『But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ』(Philippians 3: 7-8) Today, the meaning of repentance fades, many churches do not say exactly what it means. If you listen verse 9 first, you do not listen Philippians 3:7-8 and then, you will not have the right gospel.『And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:』(Philippians 3: 9) Faith is not “through faith in Christ”, but “the faith of Christ”. The center of faith is not me, but Christ. Today, however, most people consider it not Christ's faith but human faith. To receive righteousness from God is not because of my faith, but because of Jesus' faith. Those who are in Christ's faith gain God's righteousness. What does it mean to believe in Jesus Christ? Today, most churches say that they are saved if they confess their sins and believe that Christ who died on the cross in order to replace my sin. This faith is the faith of the elect. Saint to be elected are united with Jesus on the cross. It does not apply to anyone. Those who deny themselves are those who enter into the faith of Christ. 『Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.』(Matthew 16:24) Thus, first, those who are in Christ's faith become faith in Christ. Anyone can confess, "The Lord is the Christ and the Son of God," but those who are united with his death on the cross must enter into the faith of Christ. Repentance is the thing to gain Christ. Repentance is the death to unite with Christ who died on the cross.
