Why do people fear death?

Man is afraid of death because he has a body. Man thinks that there is pain before the body dies. So people strive for painless life and happy life. So people try to live as long as possible. Man also fears the world after death. So they try to be blessed after death. They make idols, think of them as gods, and serve them. But those who do not fear God will eventually be judged. The body dies, but the spirit is resurrected with a different body. It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. (1 Corinthians 15:44) Those who do not fear God will go to the resurrection of judgment, and those who honor God will go to the resurrection of life. And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation. (John 5:29) But do you know God? If you have never seen God, how can you believe God? It is only God whose Jesus calls the Father. So those who call God Father in the name of Jesus become honorers of God. Those who can call on the name of Jesus can only call those who are united to Jesus who died on the cross. In order to be united with Jesus, who died on the cross, we must deny all fleshly thoughts before the word of God. It is not to look to the cross, but to die on the cross. You must declare that you are dead with Jesus, judged by God because of sin and evil in your mind.
