Adam who is the figure of him that was to come (2)
Just as sin entered the world from the outside of the world through one Adam, so all humans have sinned in that way, so Adam ate the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, but the sin he committed was not passed on to his descendants. What is taught in the church is to focus on the Garden of Eden the whole focus of saying that sin came into the world through one Adam.
“Adam who is the figure of him that was to come,” the Apostle Paul explains to us in Romans. We should note that in verse 12 we say "Wherefore": "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: Looking at Romans 5:6-11『For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement. 』
The apostle Paul said in Romans 5:12, "Wherefore," which is the result of the preceding text. The previous one is from Romans 5:6-11. "Jesus Christ gave Himself before God as a ransom for us and made us reconciled to God." "For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life." It means that all people have become reconciled to God. “God's way of loving” is directly linked to “Wherefore”.
『Wherefore』 is often used when talking about the cause of the preceding sentence and the result. But here you have to think of it in this way: “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: 』 It is said that Adam brought sin into the world in such a way that Jesus Christ died for humans as a ransom sacrifice, which is the content of Romans 5:6-11. In Romans 5:14『Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come. 』
Like Adam, everyone entered the world with sin, and Adam entered the world with sin in the same way as Jesus Christ, the ransom sacrifice. But Romans 5:14 says, "Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.If we look at this Bible verse, the Church People think, "I became a sinner because of Adam," but Adam's descendants did not commit the same crimes (breaking the law) as Adam.
Romans 5:14 says "death reigned from Adam to Moses". Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression. In other words, it became clear that not everyone died because of Adam. It is not because of Adam that Adam's descendants die, but because of their sins. People's world is also removing things like "sin's inheritance," but they misrecognize God as the one who inherits sins.
The phrase "Adam who is the figure of him that was to come" means "same as". Adam and Jesus Christ mean "same" in the same sense that comes together when stamping. Adam also has the image of Jesus Christ. However, people ignore all that and understand Adam as a synonym for sinners. The church and Christ are one. Adam and Eve are also originally one. In Ephesians 5:30-32, the Apostle Paul explains that the relationship between Adam and Eve is between the church and Christ. As for Eve's appearance from Adam, it has been said that Adam symbolizes Christ and Eve symbolizes the church.
Thus, we can clearly understand that Adam represents Christ. The apostle Paul said, "I speak of the relationship between Christ and the church, and this mystery is great." Christ and the church were one, which means that they were one in the kingdom of God. When we look through the Garden of Eden, we can think of why did Adam come into the world? Adam (Christ) came to save his members (guilty spirits), the church.
Why did that member of Christ come into the world? People say that it is because Eve, who symbolizes the church, ate the fruit of the tree that knows good and evil in the Garden of Eden. If so, can the Apostle Paul say that this is the relationship between Christ and the Church and that this is a great mystery? Adam symbolizes Christ. Adam is the pronoun for sin, and Christ is the pronoun for salvation. Christ carried all sins on his shoulders. If people say that Adam gave all sins to humans, but Jesus took all of them, then the front and back are not matched. Jesus Christ took on all the sins of the world, and Adam also had to carry something. Adam was the first to bear sin in the kingdom of God and entered the body and acted as a channel of sin as a body of life.
There are three theories about the origin of the spirit in the "humanism" of theology today. There are three theories of creation, inheritance, and pre-existence. Most churches believe in the theory of creation. In other words, people believe that God puts the Spirit every time a child is born. Humans become sinners from birth. Do they become sinners by putting the spirit purely created by God into their flesh?
According to the creation theory, the spirit created by God turns into a sinful spirit as soon as a man is born. If you believe in creation, God made you a sinful spirit. Why did God send Christ to die on the cross? It's not logical. Even though we know that when the pure and pure spirit created by God enters the human body, it becomes contaminated with sin, it is only said that he did so. Is God so incompetent? So the theory of creation is a wrong theory.
The theory of creation is to make God the indirect responsible person who "made a clear spirit into an unclean spirit." In other words, humans make Almighty God into an incompetent God. Despite this problem, the church today believes in the theory of creation.
Second, the pre-existence theory is the concept that there are spirits who have already sinned in the kingdom of God, and God puts them into the flesh. The words of 2 Peter 2:4 and Jude 1:6 apply here. So, it is true that God sent Christ to make redemption. The spirit world is a free world, and the material world is a bound world.
The spirit must exist in the spirit world. In other words, what the spirit is in the body is not perfect because it is bound. In other words, it can be said that because the spirit sinned, it was imprisoned in the body (jade). God punishes spirits who want to become like God. This theory can lead to misunderstandings that humans have had a previous life. It does not mean the past life of man, but the presence of the spirit in man. So, the spirit goes back to the kingdom of God.
Third, it is the theory of inheritance of the spirit, the theory that it is inherited from parents. Jesus was conceived and born by the Holy Spirit. So, this doctrine is not correct. Today, churches and seminaries accept the theory of creation of the spirit. However, although there are problems with the theory of creation of the spirit, they do not accept the pre-existence theory of the spirit. If people put the first button wrong, the whole picture is scattered. The story of Genesis 1-3 describes the work of the kingdom of God.
