Though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day

Though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day   (2 Corinthians 4:14-18) Knowing that he which raised up the Lord  Jesus  shall raise up us also by  Jesus , and shall present us with you.   For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God. For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.   For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;   While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.   "bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus" means that the saints are dead with Christ. However, it is because the life of Jesus that will come after that death is intended to appear t...

Be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage

Be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage (Galatians 5:1-2)『Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing.』  Paul said. 『Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage』. The yoke of bondage is the law of Moses. In particular, circumcision is a typical example, and legalists spread like leaven that they must be circumcised.  Today, if you look at those who keep the law among the church people, there are two types. There are those who simply keep the law and those who are guided by the Holy Spirit and keep the law. So, they are arguing that keeping the law is not a problem because they keep the law under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. They claim that the Holy Spirit protects "those who are guided by the Holy Spirit and keep t...

But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only

But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only (Matthew 24:36-44)But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.  For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,  And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.  Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.  Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.  Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.  But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.  Therefore be ye also...

Ask and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find

『Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:  For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.  Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?  Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?  If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?  Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets. 』 (Matthew 7:7-12) The text of the Bible is a word of great grace for Christians. These words appear in Matthew 7 and Luke 11, but there are differences in context. The Gospel of Matthew says this at the end of the Sermon on the Mount. These words are the words of God given to those who are born again. The preceding words are the teaching...

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature (2 Corinthians 5:17-21)Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God. For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. Paul had hope. It was a hope for an eternal home in heaven. Because of that hope, Paul confessed that he preached the gospel in truth and humility, without being discouraged or afraid of death in the midst of great tribulation. He says that he so sacrificial...

He shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire

He shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire (Matthew 3:11-12) I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:  Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire. The meaning of Sere John's baptism in water means to wash away sin. To wash away sins means to die in water. But after Jesus died on the cross, the meaning of baptism received is to die and be born again on the cross with Jesus. In Romans 6:3, "Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?" 』God makes a person buried with Jesus reborn by the power of his Spirit. At this time, it can be said that baptism is the baptism of salvation in which people die and be reborn with Jesus Christ. The baptism of salvatio...

The parable of the kingdom of God

(Luke 13:18-22)Then said he, Unto what is the kingdom of God like? and whereunto shall I resemble it? It is like a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and cast into his garden; and it grew, and waxed a great tree; and the fowls of the air lodged in the branches of it.  And again he said, Whereunto shall I liken the kingdom of God?  It is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.  And he went through the cities and villages, teaching, and journeying toward Jerusalem. Here, the kingdom of God is Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the mustard seed and leaven. Woman means the bride of Christ. In Ephesians 5:31-32, ``For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife his, and they two shall be one flesh. This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church. 』Wife means church. It is to make the church members go out into the world and spread the gospel of Christ. The w...

The last days and the judgment of God

 (3) The last days and the judgment of God The end includes personal and universal things. The end of personal means the death of the body. Those who believe that the body of the past is stuck, is dead as like a shell, in other words, those who believes in the resurrection of a new body return to the kingdom of God. But those who do not believe in Jesus'resurrection go in to the resurrection of judgment.『and come out those who have done good will rise to live, and those who have done evil will rise to be condemned.』(John 5:29)

The millennium kingdom

 (2) The millennium kingdom The Bible say the end of the world.『And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.』(Matthew 24:14) The Bible say that many false Christs appear at the end. People's faith is gone, people's minds become corrupted, the natural ecosystem is destroyed, the order of life is disturbed and there will be an uproar like war. Suddenly the day come. At that time God threw Satan into the Abyss for a thousand years, the real Christ returns to this world. Christ will rule the world for a thousand years. The Bible describes that it is the recovery of Israel.(It is different from Israel's independence in 1948). When a thousand years pass, God let the Satan be released from the abyss for little while. Satan will deceive the world again.  Though sin does not occur during the millennium of Jesus' reign, when Satan deceives the world again, sin will arise. It is proved that sin is cau...
