But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only
(Matthew 24:36-44)But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
『 as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.』 This means that we do not know when the time of the Son of Man is, but it is the same as Noah's. It means that they did not realize until the flood came and destroyed them all. Why were they perished? They were all departed from God. Those who have left God will surely perish. Today, the number of Christians is huge. But the Bible says that there are not many people to be saved. Why? It is because they say they believe in God, but they have left God because they do not believe what Jesus Christ has accomplished. Jesus died to the law.
We believe that even those who are in Christ are dead to the law. And believers are dead to sin and to the world. Those who do not die are still those who have left God. They say they believe in Jesus only in words, but they do not understand exactly what Jesus said. Today, we have to think about the ordinances and procedures of the church, the legal life that takes place in the church, the thoughts that sin can only be saved by repentance, and many things close the narrow door. Jesus said that, as in Noah's day, people did not know why they were destroyed because they were drunk.
In the Bible, drunkenness means not to drink alcohol in the world to get drunk, but fundamentally, people should not change God's Word. Do not say double words that receive the Holy Spirit and do the law. In the end, double words and actions are without the Holy Spirit. In Ephesians 5:18, “And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; 』
『Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season? 』Man cometh are those who are slaves together who are entrusted with the word of God. The church's colleagues threaten and blackmail their colleagues. In other words, the church does not properly feed the true word of God and threatens those who preach the correct word. This is that drinking friends eat and drink together.
By male and female servants, we mean new members of the church. It means that those who preach the word of the church will pass the wrong word to new believers. Another meaning of ``drunken'' is that they have fallen into Satan's temptation. The first thing Satan contemplated against Jesus was to make blocks of stone bread, and stones are the law. They say they are the words of life by law. To keep the law is to deny Christ. There are so many things in the church that you think and keep legally. Tithing, temple building, etc. He who denies Christ does not have the Holy Spirit. Because there is no Holy Spirit, the devil rules.
Church people want to experience miracles and see visions. So, they want to confirm their beliefs. But if you do it wrong, you can fall into Satan's temptations. Satan deceives them. In Revelation 12:9, ``And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. 』Satan is the one who seduces all the world (people of the world).
God knows how Satan will test humans. So, God allowed the devil's temptation on Jesus. The saints must see and understand the temptations of Jesus and escape from the temptations of the devil. The devil deceives those who repent and want to return to God, tempting them not to return to God. Even today, churches deceive believers. It means that if you just believe in Jesus you will be saved. However, those who do not die with Jesus Christ cannot be saved. The devil makes the subject of salvation as if man could do it. Say, "If I believe in Jesus." It is salvation that I die and only Jesus exists. So, the subject of salvation is Jesus. Those who enter into Christ will be saved through Christ.
