Question 26. How is original sin transmitted from our ancestors to their descendants?

Answer. Original sin is transmitted from our ancestors to their descendants by the natural method of reproduction, so all descendants born from our ancestors by the natural method of reproduction are conceived and born in sin.

Original sin is the desire to become like God. The first person to have this desire appears as Eve in the Garden of Eden. Eve is the symbol of the evil angels in the Kingdom of God. The angels who sinned in the Kingdom of God wanted to become like God, so they opposed God and left God, which is greed and sin. The content of Jude 1:6 and 2 Peter 2:4 is shown as a picture of the Garden of Eden.

Sin is the desire to be like God, and breaking God's commandments is the result of sin, and the result of sin is death. Those who think breaking the commandments is sin do not understand spiritual death. Sin did not begin in the world, but in the kingdom of God.

Romans 5:12 Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and in this way death spread to all people, because all sinned.

All people enter the body of flesh through the passage of the body of sin that is passed down from the first man. Therefore, original sin is not passed down to the next generation, but people are born into the world with their own sins committed in the kingdom of God.

One person is the first man Adam. It is translated as because of one man, which means through one man. The first man Adam is the passage through which sin entered the world. In other words, the word passage means the body through which sin passes. Therefore, the body of sin is the passage of sin. The body of sin in Romans 6:6 is called to soma tes hamartias (τ σμα τς μαρτίας) in Greek, which is not the body of a lump of sin, but rather a vessel that contains sin. If we think of sin as an object, it is like a vessel that contains sin.

The first man Adam plays that role. So the first man is Christ. The body of sin that was passed down from the first man was passed down to Jesus Christ. Jesus received the body of sin from Mary, but he is without sin. Since Jesus died on the cross, those who are in Christ also died to the body of sin, and the body of sin disappeared.

Romans 6:6-7 "For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin. For he who has died has been freed from sin."
