Feed my sheep

Feed my sheep   John 21:15 『 So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest (Agapas) thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love (Philo) thee. He said unto him, Feed my lambs. 』 Philo (phileo) is love between friends. Jesus asked with agape (love for values), but Peter answered with phileo. They are out of focus. However, Jesus tells us to feed the lambs. The lamb of Jesus means the sheep that Jesus must take. In the eyes of Jesus, Peter still seemed to be without agape love. So Jesus speaks again. In chapter 21 verse 16, “ He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep. 』 The same words are repeated here. Even in the second sentence, in Jesus' view, Peter still did not have agape love. So Jesus speaks again. In chapter 21 verse 17, “ He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son o...

Make straight the way for him to come.

Make straight the way for him to come.   Mark 1:1-76 『 The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God; As it is written in the prophets, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee. The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight. John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins. And there went out to him all the land of Judaea, and they of Jerusalem, and were all baptized of him in the river of Jordan, confessing their sins. And John was clothed with camel's hair, and with a girdle of a skin about him. loins; and he did eat locusts and wild honey 』 The gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, appears in the writings of Isaiah. 『 I send my messenger before thy face 』 My messenger means John the Baptist. This John the Baptist is Elijah, as seen in Malachi (Chapter 4, Verse 5). 『 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet ...

Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees andthe leaven of Herod.

Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the leaven of Herod.   Mark 8:14-20 Now the disciples had forgotten to take bread, neither had they in the ship with them more than one loaf. And he charged them, saying, Take heed, beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, and of the leaven of Herod. And they reasoned among themselves, saying, It is because we have no bread. And when Jesus knew it, he said unto them, Why reason ye, because ye have no bread? perceive ye not yet, neither understand? Have ye your heart yet hardened? Having eyes, see ye not? and having ears, hear ye not? and do ye not remember? When I brake the five loaves among five thousand, how many baskets full of fragments took ye up? They say unto him, Twelve. And when the seven among four thousand, how many baskets full of fragments took ye up? And they said, Seven. Jesus performed the miracle of feeding 4,000 people with seven loaves and two fish. The Jews who saw this miracle should believe, “ He is the Son of ...

Parable of the mustard seed

Parable of the mustard seed   Mark 4:30-32 『 And he said, Whereunto shall we liken the kingdom of God? or with what comparison shall we compare it? It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when it is sown in the earth, is less than all the seeds that be in the earth: But when it is sown, it growseth up, and becomesth greater than all herbs, and shooteth out great branches; so that the fowls of the air may lodge under the shadow of it. 』 The Bible says, “ The kingdom of God is like a mustard seed. ” The farmer (God) planted this mustard seed in his field. The mustard seed is Jesus Christ. And his field represents Israel. God planted Christ (a mustard seed) in his field (Israel). So, the mustard seed grew into a large tree and became home to the birds of the air. “ The flying birds of the air ” are the birds that Peter saw in his vision. That is, they are strangers. Jesus Christ was born in Israel, but Gentiles enter the kingdom of God first. The parable of the mustard se...

Guards guard the tomb

Guards guard the tomb   Matthew 27:62-66 『 Now the next day, that followed the day of the preparation, the chief priests and Pharisees came together unto Pilate, Saying, Sir, we remember that that deceiver said, while he was yet alive, After three days I will rise again. Command therefore that the sepulchre be made sure until the third day, lest his disciples come by night, and steal him away, and say unto the people, He is risen from the dead: so the last error shall be worse than the first. Pilate said to them, Ye have a watch: go your way, make it as sure as ye can. So they went, and made the sepulchre sure, sealing the stone, and setting a watch. 』 The chief priests and Pharisees confirmed that Jesus was completely dead. In John 19:32-35, “ Then came the soldiers, and brake the legs of the first, and of the other which was crucified with him. But when they came to Jesus, and saw that he was dead already, they brake not his legs: But one of the soldiers with a spear pier...

Tree of Life and Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil

Tree of Life and Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil (1) The identity of the tree of knowledge of good and evil People in all churches around the world believe that “ God created the tree of knowledge of good and evil. ” Looking at Genesis 2:9, “ And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil. 』   “ the tree of   life   also in the midst of the   garden , ”   The comma (,) after this sentence should be changed to peoriod (.).That is why the tree of knowledge of good and evil was excluded from the tree that God made. There are three types of trees created by God. It is a tree of joy, a tree worth looking at for food, a tree of life. However, the ‘ Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil ’ suddenly intervenes. The tree of the knowledge of good and evil represents one's righteousness. This is a ...

This poor widow has put in more than all who put into the treasury.

This poor widow has put in more than all who put into the treasury.   Mark 12:41-44 『 And Jesus sat over against the treasury, and beheld how the people cast money into the treasury: and many that were rich cast in much. And there came a certain poor widow, and she threw two mites, which made a farthing. And he called unto him his disciples unto her, and saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That this poor widow hath cast more in, than all they which have cast into the treasury: For all they did cast in of their abundance her. of; but she of her want did cast in all that she had, even all her living. 』 The Bible expresses spiritual meaning superficially, metaphorically, and symbolically. A widow means a person who has no one to help her. Also, a widow symbolizes someone who has left God. This means that everyone living in this world has left God and is a spiritual widow. In Jewish society at the time, the helpless and pitiful Jewish people would be referred to as s...
